Yeah it would. It's interesting how it's (most likely) unintentionally Dark Tower related. Considering that's where all those events in SOS occur from what I understand.

See...otters are so cool that I actually had to make up a word.

But, on to the point. I googled up "evil turtle" and there are quite a few good turtle pics. I thought you'd dig this drawing, Matthew. :)

I used to have turtles. Their names were Maturin and Roland. Guess why? The girl was Maturin and the boy was Roland. It was just my luck that I gave the name Roland to the boy because when they were little I had no idea about their gender.
Now they live in the Zoo because they got so big that I had to realise I couldn't buy them a tank that's big enough for them. Now they live in a very big lake in the zoo with lots of other turtles.

When they were little:

Turtle tour 1

The other nesting turtle in this area is the giant Leatherback – the largest marine turtle in the world. Weighing an incredible 500- 750 kg, this massive reptile is a true wonder of nature. She has very large flippers and her skin is decorated with pink and white spots, whilst the name reflects the characteristic leathery carapace that covers her back. Adult leatherbacks live on an exclusive diet of jellyfish and are immune even to the toxins of the deadly Man o’ War. Their breeding routine is similar to that of the Loggerhead.

I don't show up or post much, I'm sorry if this is old news here. I did a search, couldn't find anything.

But my search skills are feeble.

So I decided to post it in this old thread from last year on turtles, since the main part of the picture is a turtle. But I was kind of excited about it.

I got a new computer a month or so ago, and yesterday went to change the desktop and chose this one that comes with Windows 7

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v460/Whidden/image19.png

It's a Windows 7 desktop wallpaper that is named IMG19

Yeah, they named it 19.

It's really a Dark Tower desktop. See my reasons why.

1. The turtle
2. The Train (Blaine) or closer to Charlie the Choo Choo
3. Rose in the middle
4. A Tower like castle (though it's not dark) with beams coming out the top, though it's the wrong number of beams I think...
5. Robot carrying a log (Andy the messenger robot maybe)
6. The two dogs or wolves remind me of the hounds that were by the waterfall that Blaine went by.
7. A dragon (might be a Eyes of the Dragon reference or Crimson King)
8. The name of it is image 19
9. There is a horn over on the right, a giant creature of some kind makes it mouth into a horn.

I think someone at Windows is a Dark Tower fan, but didn't want to get sued, so they did what they could do.

Whidden
02-06-2010, 08:55 AM
Sorry, for some reason, the photobucket is posting the wrong picture, I'll fix the post up top in a few minutes.

Edit: it was too big and it freaked out photobucket, so I had to resize it. Kind of hard to see everything, but if you have windows 7, it will be in your desktop wallpaper, and you can see it in more detail.

Brice

@Brice,

it really is neato, isn't it? I wish I knew the artist and the story behind it, but it doesn't have anything on it information wise that I can find.

I forgot about the horn, over on the right, there is some creature that makes it's mouth into a horn. I'll edit my post up top.
