View Full Version : To integrate or not integrate--that is the question
No it isn't!! The question is what is "integration"?
Integration is a content management system that I am using on the rest of the pages--you can get an example of what I mean on any page.
news (http://www.thedarktower.org/news)
comics (http://http://www.thedarktower.org/comictower)
home (http://www.thedarktower.org)
collections (http://www.thedarktower.org/collections)
Basically it gives us a navigation, random image and stuff like that on the side of the forums. For this, we would only use the left like on the home page.
The reason I am considering it is because it would create a nice way to cross reference the forums with the rest of the site.
So vote away, do you guys want to see this?

No.
I KNEW you wouldn't want me to Daghain.
Care to explain why for everyone else's benefit?

I like the message boards like they are. As an active member, I visit the other pages of the site often, so I don't think it necessary to have any additional material on the page while I am in the forums.

It is OK. BTW, the Home link is broken. It has a double HTTP.

Not too much pressure to vote then...
I'm not voting because I like the boards as they are, but it also wouldn't bother me to have this new feature.

If people like it, I suppose it's fine, but personally I don't need it.

i say no. i have a hard enough time seeing everything without the horizontal scroll as it is.
i also vote that the apostrophe be removed from "upload image's."
http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o199/sarajeanm/untitled-4.jpg
that is incorrect, it should be "upload images."

thanks matt!
Okay, it looks like the vote is "no" on this idea. We only got 9 but I am going to go with the outcome.

Whats the worst that can happen? You integrate into the new format and if people dont care for it you rollback. No, not Wallmart rollback, you know what I mean people....

But the big yellow smiley face....what will he do?!?
It actually ends up being like...a half inch on the left.
But I will go with the masses (in this case) and leave it off. :grouphug:
