The morning sun was on the rise, a new day had begun.
A missing piece, the final clue; his nation’s song is sung.
With instrument of cultivation, a strumpet will suffice
At some point in the afternoon a beverage would be nice.

I start with an idea, then work out the clues, then rhyme the whole mess...and viola! A riddle. Although my riddles seem a bit easy for this crew...
I have this fear that my ideas will dry up...and then, no more riddles from me. :(
So, As they come to me, WHILE they come to me, I post them....and let the chips fall where they may. C'est la vie.
The morning sun was on the rise, a new day had begun. dawn? DAWN is correct!

I for one hope this never happens!
At some point in the afternoon a beverage would be nice - tea? (so if the answer is a word, it will end in -ty?)
