Which book would you rather re-read: IT or The Stand?

This is the third and final round of our Constant Reader Awards. The top ten books advancing from the first two rounds will be competing in a series of polls against each other, based on re-readability. Every book will face-off with each of the other nine books in the top ten. Polls will last one week.

The winner of each poll will have 0.1 points added to its overall score. At the end of the round the scores will be compiled, giving us our true top ten listing and the winning title for the Best Stephen King Book Ever Published.

Please be sure to vote solely based on which book you would rather re-read in each face/off. If you have not read one or both of the titles, please select he "Never Read" option.

Bears can't choose now. Both are their favorite titles.

Toughest head-to-head possible in the King_Universe.
But I have to go with The Stand.

This face-off round has been SO hard. Why not ask me to choose which one of my children I love best? Sheesh!

I think I'm going to have to ponder It vs. The Stand for a while.

Are we talking the extended ed. Stand? Because that one is a bit much.
I'll assume thats the case, so I have to say IT

It really is! Outside of the DT series these are both in my top 3...both of 'em! Crapola! But think I might have to go with The Stand.

Okay, I thought it over for hours and finally voted for The Stand. Of course, I had second thoughts and regrets the second I hit the vote button. I would have felt the same way if I had voted for It. I really do love them both an equal amount for different reasons!

This thread is the reason I question why I am one of the 3 people who have not read (BOTH!) titles yet. but they are pretty much next up on my list.

I have voted for The Stand in every other instance. I think I would have preferred The Stand even over DT5, should it have made this stage. But It is - well, to quote Nikolett, my everything.

OMG! You really don't know what you are missing! After some of the DT series The Stand is #1, It is #2 on my fav list. And that is a very very close #2. Neither of the movie versions did the books justice, so if you have seen those and liked them at all then you will love the books.

It was an incredibly good book, but for me The Stand was as good as it gets. The Stand was a magnificent epic.

Didnt see the poll until it was done. But my vote would of been IT. I love that book sooo much. IT was my first SK book, so there is a little importance in that. But IT is just a better book imo.

The Stand. I will admit I do find IT much more scarier, and it truly is a phenomenal read, but...The Stand is so much more than a horror novel. That one was truly an epic read!

Did I remember to vote on this one? Gah, such a question. The Stand is very special for me and would be my vote (would be since I can't remember if I voted...). On the other hand, I would rather read about the kids in It than Frannie's bitchy angst. Still, I so love Nick and Larry and Stu and Glen and the Judge and Mother Abagail (even if she borders on stereotypical at times) and Lloyd and Harold and Trashy and, of course, Randall Flagg.

AAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!
