Unless you don't watch television at all, there is likely some tv theme music which you really enjoy.

Here are a few of mine, in no particular order...

- Sanford & Son by Quincy Jones

It's a funk masterpiece.

- "Having an Average Weekend" - by Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet

Better known as the theme to The Kids in the Hall. This is one of the most fun songs to play ever.

- The Simpsons theme by Danny Elfman

- The Futurama theme by Christopher Tyng

- The Mr. Show theme by Marc Rivers

- Match Game theme music

Fun with the wah-wah peddle.

- "Yahoos and Triangles" by The Refreshments

Better known as the King of the Hill theme. Another one that's addictive to play.

Ok, what about you?

The Wire uses "Way Down in the Hole" by Tom Waits performed by a different artist each season, like The Blind Boys of Alabama, Steve Earle and Waits himself. That's a hard one to beat.

And Southpark theme. :D

The 4400 is so freakin' awesome.
And I love Primus!

I'm going to mention the Friends theme "I'll Be There for You" by The Rembrandts because Friends is one of my favorite sitcoms ever and because it's a really catchy song. :)

I could never get the clapping part down, though. ><

That is hard to beat indeed, but I shall try. I see your Waits and Waits covers (which are cool of course), and I raise you a theme by one of the greatest guitarists ever, Sonny Sharrock...

And of course The Wonder Years. I can't believe I forgot that one earlier.

And t/song, I still listen to that song on a regular basis. I only wish it was longer.
