Definitely a great accomplishment for Coach Summit. I saw this morning that she just signed a contract extension through 2014, which would be her 40th at Tennessee. It's sad that her good friend Kay Yow passed before seeing Summit reach this milestone, but she certainly knew it would happen and that's what matters.

Coach Summit makes for a better story today for UT than her colleague, the new football coach Lane Kiffin who got in some trouble yesterday for inappropriately accusing UF coach Urban Meyer of a recruiting violation when what Meyer did was not a violation. Way to start a new era for the football program Lane. Just because he got jobbed by the Raiders is no reason to go crazy now.
