Salem's Lot no spoilers please!

So, i just started reading Salem's Lot, and I know in Wolves of the Calla it explains how the Pere ventures through different worlds via the hidden highways. Does the story of Salem's lot actualy describe, or mention them at all?

i'm basically looking for a yes or no, but no other spoilers please!

I just want to know because it is pretty much the reason i Got the book, well part of it anyway

I didn't want to click on the Book of The Month thread because I was too afraid of spoilers.. so if this gets merged later it is ok, as long as i can get an answer before that happens lol.

No. The story in there takes place prior to those events.

It's still a good book and having read Wolves it will fill in a lot for you as far as Callahan, just not the "highways in hiding" thing.
