Ah thanks, I encountered a message saying my posts were subject to a mod before becoming final, so I thought I had to go through that process. So my additional posts in the new member threads must have exceeded 5 subsequently for it to trigger full services. The collecting info is a treasure indeed!

This is pretty much what I'm going to do, hopefully it works out like you mentioned.

You might wanna keep an eye on the listing on Abebooks from Pages of Boston. They are often insanely overpriced in my opinion but if they include DoD and tCG without updating the total price then it might become worth looking at after some stiff negotiations ;)

Pictures are not allowed as attachments for security reasons.

2000 x 2000 pixels and I think it's 1.6 MB limit.

Basic picture upload:

There are two ways to post photos. Either upload the photo to a web site that hosts photos and link to the photo with the http://www.thedarktower.org/palaver/images/editor/insertimage.png icon, or you can upload to the site server in the Gallery.

To upload to the site server: Click Gallery. From the upper right of the menu on top of the new page click Upload Photos. Click the Browse button. Navigate to the photo on your hard drive and select it. Click Open. Wait for the photo to upload. When it's complete you will be taken back to your gallery.

You have three picture posting options. You can post the thumbnail, the medium sized image below the thumbnail, or you can click on the medium sized image and another window will open with a full sized image. Right click the image you want. Select Copy Image Location, then click the http://www.thedarktower.org/palaver/images/editor/insertimage.png button in the thread you want and paste the image location in the box. Click OK.

You can post. Posts are moderated in some threads until your required five posts to unlock most locked membership privileges. Moderated posts might take a while to show up.

Posts in this thread and the Introduce yourself thread aren't moderated and so appear right away. Some people make their first five posts in those threads to unlock privileges more quickly.

I have read most of the Stephen King books but the DT series is my favorite. I even have a large DT tattoo on my shoulder from when I was young and more stupid. I always wanted to get a full sleeve, but recently have decided to get the DT S/L series instead. I'm not sure which would have cost more money.....

I got hooked on King when reading the Talisman way back in high school and just recently re-read it. It still kicks ass. I am re-reading Black House now. It starts slow, but also kicks ass. Although I am past my spending limit on books this year, I plan to look for the S/L versions of those books next.
