trade paper and mass market.

Throw it on ebay with a BUY IT NOW of $400....that way it will cover your ebay fees, and you won't have to make an international shipment....and the book will actually stay with a collector.

It's called a strike through. Click on Edit your post. Highlight the text you want the line to appear through. Look through the options (add movie, photo, Bold, Italic, etc.) and click on the ABC with the line through it. When you post in the thread your edited document will have the strike through.

The Stand - pretty nice copy of a VERY hard to find book (no more than 1,000 printed). The 'laminate' spine creasing is a common flaw with this one. Alas, it has a previous owner's inscription, which for me personally is not a dealbreaker. Also a bit of the silver foil on the spine has rubbed off. Still, hard to find in any condition - $500

I'm a part of a Disney Print collecting Facebook group and they hold these things called "waffles" in addition to just outright selling. Let's say the seller wants to get $200 for his item, so he puts up a "waffle" and says "It'll be $10 per spot, and 20 spots only" ... People call dibs on however many spots they want (sometimes there is a limit set by the seller) and off we go. If the waffle gets full, that's when everyone PayPals the money to the seller and then the seller puts all the names in a hat and draws one for the winner. Just something to consider. An easy way to get an amount of money for the seller and a cheap way to get an item for the buyer.

Agreed. I think it'd work well here amongst those that have proven themselves. The drawing could be done by a trusted third party that the seller provides the names to. I wouldn't do it otherwise without some type of safety net.

I have done this on Facebook to get money out of an item. It works. For instance... Faithful s/l... I wanted $100... Sold $100 in $10 tickets and got my money. Someone got a book for $10!!

Desperation gift edition from Grant Publishing. Fine condition. Last two on eBay sold for $45 and $91. Let's say $60 shipped and it's yours.

From a Buick 8 gift edition from Cemetery Dance. Everything is in VG condition. Don't buy this expecting a fine book. There are a few minor nicks on the slipcase, the page block isn't sparkly white and there's some minor rubbing on the DJ from the slipcase. I also tend to exaggerate the defects which anyone who's ever bought from me can attest to. Last GE in fine condition sold for $295 + shipping. I'm pricing mine accordingly at $150 shipped. I am selling my spare copy of the UK Advance Uncorrected Proof of The Dark Tower (DT VII) - Limited to 100 copies (but some were rumoured to have been destroyed due to a spelling error of the limitation page, so exactly numbers unknown). It's not in perfect condition (VG or G+) with some edgewear and minor soiling to the page block. The front cover has a couple of creased corners and fingering creases, but the back cover has a couple of stronger creases to the lower left corner that translates to a much lesser extent to the last thirty or so pages. The Stand - pretty nice copy of a VERY hard to find book (no more than 1,000 printed). The 'laminate' spine creasing is a common flaw with this one. Bonus item for the completest. Found my Dark Dreamers Tray Cased S/L -#283 and even comes with Flyer that came with it originally. Note that someone penciled in lightly "200" on signature page (not sure if cost/book numbers/etc but probably erasable if one is inclined to get rid of it). Flyer directs you to page #208 to see details of book versioning/signatures/states but you will note that this Dark Dreamers proves page #208 wrong b/c my book is clearly #283 which is below the number threshold given by the book itself stating there should be two signature pages (when #283 only has one w/ 2nd state Title page verified too). Curiouser and curiouser!
Page 208 reads:
"A special edition of 405 copies of DARK DREAMERS, signed by the authors, was completed in May, 1990. Due to accidental destruction of some signature sheets, three states of this limited edition were published:

Something big has come up, so I'm selling a recently purchased Centipede Press 'Salem's Lot Gift Edition, still factory sealed, and in a Tomas traycase, with space for the prints, which aren't included, as well as the other ones I've listed previously, which are:

The Shining CD Gift Edition, still sealed, as new
Sleeping Beauties UK 1/1 (blue fox, blue moth, blue tiger, 5 x Tesco peacocks, all with varying minor shelfwear, mostly to dj edges)
Sleeping Beauties UK s/l (250 in total, I have 3) NF/NF (slipcases seem to be prone to light scuffing, books are F/F
Dark Tower VII 1/1 (signed and doodled by Michael Whelan) VG+/VG+
Colorado Kid PS Publishing s/l traycased (33 of each artist, Chadbourne, Miller, Potter; I have one of each, numbers unmatched) all F/F

Thank you! Short answer I guess is I love photography - my specialty is landscapes actually. Living in maine there is always something to shoot when I have the time. The ones with a white background are super easy to do with just your phone and 60$ lightbox from Amazon. All you do is manually increase exposure until the background is blown out ( all white) and bam - no processing needed, all in iphone.

Not a perfect copy as there is a small, half-elliptical stain to the top edge of the cover which affects all pages save the last few. Otherwise, the copy is sharp and clean.
