View Full Version : Book Collection: blg
After I introduced myself in another thread, it was suggested that I post some pictures of my book collection. I've gone through some of the other collections posted here and am amazed at what some of you have managed to acquire.
Anyway, here's what I've managed to get so far. At the moment, most is SK, but I am starting to branch out to some other authors. I do hope to get some better bookshelves in the future as well.
These are all 1sts except for Carrie, which is a Bookclub Edition. Maybe someday I'll get real thing. :) You'll also probably notice a lack of Dark Tower books. I sold my artist and 1st trade editions a while back and may try and get the S/L's at some point.

Sweet! Have you catalogued the numbers of your various King s/l editions?
Whispers Lettered:
I'll post some more as time permits. I have a few books coming in that haven't arrived yet. I also hope I did this right as I'm having trouble accessing the files I uploaded.

Nice collection, blg.
You're doing it right as far as file attachments, as we can see and click on the thumbnails.
If you want to avoid having people click on thumbnails and would prefer for the full photo to appear (as you see in other threads): You might want to start an album in the gallery here and use that to link the photos, or use a third party service such as photobucket. They're all pretty easy to use.
Great collection blg and yes, feel free to use our Gallery to host if you like.
Ok, thanks for the info. I was wondering how to make the photos appear fullsized in each post.

I thought that Firestarter looked familiar! :P
It looks great on your shelf, as does most of your collection!

Superb collection , wow!
This is another Ziesing S/L that I recently picked up. I'm always happy when I can get a book for less than the original issue price.

Thanks! USPS is being extremely slow with my Best of Cemetery Dance, but I hope to be able to post pics of that in a few days.

I have yet to read this, but I thought it sounded interesting. It's also my 1st lettered Sub Press book and I got it for significantly less than the issue price.

I've never really looked into THE BEST OF CEMETARY DANCE. Maybe I should pay more attention. I like the look, how's the book?
I ordered this the other day and really am impressed by the quality of the book.

For some reason I missed your question. I never realized this existed until a few months ago and really think it's a cool book. The book itself is quite large (850+ pages) and the fact that it has around 60 sigs makes it a very worthwhile addition IMO. I should probably try to find a trade ed, so I can actually read it.
There seems to be an abundance of PC copies floating around so I was very happy to get an actual number. I'd love to see pics of the lettered edition if anyone has it.

Thanks for sharing your impressions.
By the way, now that I've read the beginning of "The Ledge" in your post above, I want to know what happens next. Guess I better figure out in which collection of short stories it was reproduced...
It's in Night Shift. A really cool story to read, but the movie version in "Cat's Eye" was terrible.

Love these books, especially the ones I don't have. MASTERS OF DARKNESS and THE HOUSE NEXT DOOR look great! NIGHT VISIONS V and THE SINS OF THE FATHERS too.
Please post a photo of the signature page from SINS, if you're so inclined.
