I know there was a thread for this last year, but it's in the clearing, and i don't know if you revive threads in the clearing, so i figured I'd start a new one.

So this is where you can go and post your new years resolutions and goals for 2009, and after that, update your progress towards achieving said goal.

To start off, i need to get my grades i tiny bit higher, specifically in physics. I missed a few assignments last marking period, so my grades in there have dropped. Working toward fixing that already.

I'd resolve not to make resolutions, but I did that last year and doing so while it is still this year would break that resolution.

wow. i haven't made a new year's resolution in ages. but i think if i did make one it would be that i don't have any hospital stays in 2009. don't know that i can control that anymore than i already am but. . .

I'm going to try to be nicer to Matt... I don't treat him very well sometimes. :shame:

Honestly, I'm pretty surprised he's still around.

I think I may try to cut back on the Benedryl this year...I may already be borderline addicted, and I don't really wanna leap over to that side.

I made a resolution years ago (more than a decade ago) not to make anymore damn New Year's Resolutions. It's the only one I've ever kept.:wtf:

Good luck to both of you. I quit early in 2008 and I'm so glad I did.

I'm just a part time smoker anyway - and I've given up for pretty much 18 months 3 times when I had my kids, so its kinda pointless that I ever go back to it.
Basically, I only smoke if I'm at the pub, because I enjoy having a cigarette with a beer...except lately I haven't enjoyed a cigarette the last three or four times I've smoked, so I figure its time to quit!

Well Im going to smoke more, drink more and definitely chew my fingernails more. I may take crack up also.
That way, when none of this happens, I wont be disappointed in myself.

Can't argue with that logic.

Well, my main resolution is to work more and procrastinate less.

My girl was sweet enough to get me Rosetta Stone to learn Italian, and that's my resolution for this year... To get through the course and learn to speak Italian.

I resolve that when I'm talking about Children of the Korn, I will stop putting a "K" instead of a "C".

I also need to relearn some spelling, because German has gotten me mixing around vowels, and i'm sure many of you have seen me use the word "leik" instead of "like"

I don't think you'll ever quit confusing languages Razz if they're both Indo European. Since English and German are "related" the discrepancies between the two aren't as easily recognized once your initial ignorance is removed.

:D Thanks! I was at the pub last night as Stew and I organised a Christmas quiz...and I wasn't even tempted to go outside for a ciggie.

Apart from that, Stew banned me from going out to talk to him whenever he was having one

1. To finish my bunker before Jan. 20th.
2. To pick up/throw out the dead frog my dog put behind my computer last May.
3. To say "OU sucks, Hook Em Horns" every chance I get next year.
4. To drink less bad tequila and a lot more of the really good stuff.
5. To dump the 43 year old girlfriend and find a hot 19 year old stripper to replace her.
6. To vote for Sarah Palin as many times as I can in 2009.
7. and most important.....To make Coz say the naughty F word one last time in 2008.

Hear hear! OU's jumping of UT in the BCS was the biggest travesty in sports. My brother went to UT for law school so I follow the 'Horns as rabidly as I do my own USF Bulls (it helps that both teams have the same hand gesture for rooting) and my sister's USC Trojans. Texas got ripped off and Colt McCoy should have won the Heisman as well.

Cant be any worse then Bush lol. I mean that man should get an award, i mean he is living proof that there is no discrimination against mental capabilities in your country. And look at it this way, now he is gone, people will start liking your country again lol ;)

Yes, and now I want to be independent from them. Fuck it! I'm declaring myself and any bit of soil I touch my own temporary sovereign nation. As soon as I leave a piece of land whatever nation owned it before can have it back.

Becareful Brice, you may get put on the Axis of evil list lol. Ahh well if they start just confuse bush with some riddles or a slinky lol.

Then again are leader is just as bad, Labour was once a Solcalist party, there not any more, there more right wing then the Conservatives. Which is kinda odd considering were a Socialist country, well suposed to be. On the plus side, the amount of banks they are being nationalised means were going back to that even if they dont want too lol.

If only someone would have given that poor boy a slinky shortly after 9-11 there would have been no war. He'd still be staring at it.

I am the axis of evil. Mwahahahaha!!!
