This is how I envision this thread working: you find an actor or actress and then list the films they've been in.

I always think it's fun to see an actor's body of work. Many times I'm surprised to learn that an actor was in a film and I didn't even know it.

You can then leave your opinion of the films you've seen, or stars or nothing at all.

I'll start:

Tom Cruise

Tropic Thunder - If you didn't know he was in this then you didn't pay attention.
Lions for Lambs - Great cast, bad movie.
Mission: Impossible III
War of the Worlds - Marks the timeline when people started hating him.
Collateral - His most underrated performance
The Last Samurai - Great film, another good performance.
Austin Powers in Goldmember - Shows his comedic side.
Minority Report - One of the better sci-fi films of recent memory.
Vanilla Sky - Weird...just weird.
Mission: Impossible II
Magnolia - Cruise's most powerful performance
Jerry Maguire - You know you like it, just admit it.
Mission: Impossible
Interview with the Vampire
The Firm
A Few Good Men - Best Tom Cruise film of all time. Great performance
Far and Away
Days of Thunder
Born on the Fourth of July - One of the better Vietnam films out there.
Rain Man - Great film. Hoffman steals the show...and K-Mart sucks.
Young Guns - Don't remember him in this.
Cocktail
The Color of Money - Cruise is no Fast Eddie Felson. Newman wins Oscar gold
Top Gun - Classic
Legend
All the Right Moves
Risky Business
Losin' It
The Outsiders
Taps - Young Tom Cruise

I'm hoping this thread will spark conversation about peoples' opinion of actors and their films.

If you didn't already know, the best place to find an actors' filmography is IMDB.com.

Although I strongly disliked Tropic Thunder, I have to admit that Tom Cruises's bits were funny as hell, especially his "I'll tell you what...why don't I send you a hobo's dick cheese instead!" speech

Will Smith is one of the most bankable movie stars in the business today.

The rapper, turned sitcom staple, turned blockbuster superstar has shown the ability to open a movie. He's also shown the ability to act in lower profile, character driven pieces.

Hancock - Big box office, dud of a film
I Am Legend - Solid film. I enjoyed it.
The Pursuit of Happyness - Fine performances by Smith and young son Jadyn.
Hitch
Shark Tale
I, Robot - Nice sci-fi flick. Nothing special.
Bad Boys II - Subpar sequel solely exists to rake in cash.
Men in Black II - See above.
Ali - Smith does a nice job as legend Ali.
The Legend of Bagger Vance - Promising drama tanks.
Wild Wild West - Disaster
Enemy of the State - One of my favorite Smith films.
Men in Black - Fun film. Good chemistry between Smith and Jones.
Independence Day - Smith's best film. A classic sci-fi epic.
Bad Boys - Great buddy-buddy action film.
Six Degrees of Separation
Made in America
Where the Day Takes You

The only Will Smith movies I haven't seen are Hitchcock, The Pursuit of Happiness, and Ali. I've enjoyed the rest.

My question is, since Feev combined Hitch and Hancock into one film, which didn't he see, Hitch, Hancock, or both? I haven't seen either since both looked unappealing for different reasons.

I'm not the biggest fan of Smith, though to be honest, I've not seen a lot more of his movies than I have seen because most of the roles he takes are in projects that just don't appeal to me.

Matt Damon is one of the most versatile actors in Hollywood today. He can play a villain, like in The Departed and The Talented Mr. Ripley or the bad ass action hero in the blockbuster Bourne franchise.

He also won an Oscar for Co-writing Good Will Hunting. Damon has also shown his funny side with a hilarious sketch with Sarah Silverman on the Jimmy Kimmel show called "I'm fucking Matt Damon."

Currently, he's my favorite actor.

The Bourne Ultimatum - One of the best films of 2007. Perfect end to a great trilogy.

Ocean's Thirteen - Can't say the same for this "trilogy."

The Good Shepherd - I came away disappointed. Good performance though.

The Departed - Great film, despite what most people seem to think on these forums.

Syriana - I thought his performance was better than Clooney's.

The Brothers Grimm

Ocean's Twelve - So what.

The Bourne Supremacy - Damon kicks ass a second time.

Jersey Girl

EuroTrip

Stuck on You - Not sure what he was thinking here.

Confessions of a Dangerous Mind

The Bourne Identity - Jason Bourne is born.

Ocean's Eleven - Very entertaining remake. All-Star cast.

All the Pretty Horses

Finding Forrester

The Legend of Bagger Vance - Bust.

The Talented Mr. Ripley - One of my favorite underrated films. Damon should have won an Oscar for this one. If you haven't seen this film, pick it up. What a cast: Jude Law, Gwynth Paltrow, Cate Blanchett, Phillip Seymour Hoffman.

Dogma - Matt shows his versatile side.

Rounders - Best poker movie ever.

Saving Private Ryan - The film is almost done by the time he appears on screen, but Damon adds humanity to a character that we've actually grown to resent during their journey to find him.

Good Will Hunting - One of my top 10 favorite films. Every performance is great, even the much hated Ben Affleck. Especially the scene out by the truck. If the wrong actors was cast as Privat Ryan, it could have derailed the greatest war movie of all time.

The Rainmaker - Good movie. Don't hear much about it.

Chasing Amy

Glory Daze

Courage Under Fire - Early Matt Damon outshines a cast of Hollywood vets.

The Good Old Boys

Geronimo: An American Legend

School Ties

Mystic Pizza
