Well, as the title implies, this is the movie trivia thread. I'll pose a question about a movie, and whoever gets it right moves the game along, nothing unheard of. If after a certain amount of time, no one can answer the question, then the one in possession of the 'feather' will hint as to what the answer is, and if that approach doesn't bear fruit either, then they'll just have to post the answer to the question and post another one. Savvy? :)

I'll start us off with an easy one:

What was the name of the grave where the gold was hidden in The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly?

sarah
06-30-2007, 06:02 PM
Arch Stanton?

sarah
06-30-2007, 06:04 PM
My question if my answer is correct:

How many men and what were their colors in reservoir dogs?

How many men and what were their colors in reservoir dogs?

In Pulp Fiction, Butch Coolidge risks his life to retrieve what item, also what is the significance of this item?

MonteGss
06-30-2007, 09:36 PM
Butch went after his watch, his fathers watch. The watch was hidden up someone's ass (christopher walken) while a POW in 'Nam so it could be delivered to Butch.

In the 1990's, Spielberg and Scorcese traded as directors on two violent and dramatic films which both went on to receive multiple Oscar nominations. What were the two films?

fernandito
08-07-2007, 09:14 AM
Spielberg had the script for the remake (?) of Cape Fear and Scorsese had the script for Schindler's List...but Spielberg has such an obsession with that particular event in history that he asked Scorsese for a trade. :)

How could "40% of women cheat in marriage" be taken out of a freezer? :) Im not sure if thats said in the same conversation though. It could have been.

fernandito
08-13-2007, 06:58 PM
I could of sworn that the question had something to do with a newspaper article...

<- Idiot

Looks like it's VHS time.

ZoNeSeeK
08-13-2007, 11:14 PM
I edited "article" to "item" to make it clearer, I thought that could have caused some confusion (you know, like an article of clothing or an article of whatever)

sarah
08-14-2007, 07:22 AM
In True Lies, what item does Albert Gibson's ex-wife take from his freezer that gets him so worked up?

so this is still the current question?

if so the correct answer is....

i have no fucking idea.

;)

fernandito
08-14-2007, 08:13 AM

In Robin Hood : Men In Tights, there is a scene in which Robin Hood (Cary Elwes) looks directly into the camera for a few seconds with a slight smirk on his face, and then shrugs. What was going on in front of him that caused him to do this?

Mattrick
08-22-2007, 10:34 AM
That is simple. Jigsaw is preparing for Donnie Wahlberg.

Wasn't this in the scene in the hall when Prince John is having his banquet? Robin looks up, sees the chandelier and the rope holding it up, and a bunch of guards standing under it? Then he looks to the camera, smirks, cuts the rope with his sword, and the chandelier falls on him instead?

fernandito
08-23-2007, 08:07 AM
Yeah, that one was a little too hard. I'll post a different one later on.

Rjeso

So what's the answer, then? Don't leave us hangin,' dude!

fernandito
08-23-2007, 08:10 AM
Nope, sorry Laura.

It's the scene where all of the 'merrymen' are learning how to use the bow & arrow. One guy breaks his, the next guy pulls on it so much that it just bends, and the last guy shoots it backwards.

Rjeso
08-23-2007, 08:33 AM

She spent 57 years in hypersleep. :)
