Ordered me a sample pack from them, thanks for the info:)

Son of a bitch!

Sample pack?!

Sample pack?!

For $4 I could have taken care of the one book I wanted to (The BCE FDNS) instead of the $30+ I spent on the roll of 1000.

Oh well...like I said, I am using them on my signed trades.

See...that's my problem...I'm never satisfied. I should be thrilled that I found the actual exact sticker I need for my book, and I am bitching about the fact I had to buy too many.

Portion them out here. How's $5 for a hundred sound?

Mine arrived yesterday and I promptly put my newly acquired TWTTKH signed 1st in it, looks nice on the shelf with the others...though it is considered DT 4.5, but due to the slipcase designs from grant with books 4 and 5 being housed together you can't place the book where it is suppoed to be (between 4 and 5) So right now i have it at the end of the row, didn't seem lik eit should be first, The Gunslinger always goes first

I took RF's advice and put it on a floating frame (though you cant see it).
When messing with frames I noticed it is numbered on the lower left hand corner. This one is 171 of 270

Couldn't find the "Deal Of The Century" thread, merge if needed.

Searched for "Stephen King" in the local Craigslistand found this ad. For those that don't know, the Thomas Holdorf Pet Sematary (THPS) is pretty damn hard to find. Contacted the guy and bought the three Holdorf books today. Yay me! Carrie was already sold. Oh well. lol

A very good deal literally fell in my lap. I recently won a UK 200 S/L of TWTTKH (#134) for $300!!! Sgc1999 said he wanted it, then backed off, and it just fell into my lap!!! Never thought it would go that cheap!!!! Win/Win, right? LOL LOL

P.S. Anyone need a 1/1 UK edition of TWTTKH? Within reason I'll pay for the s/h ($20) or split the cost. Solely to help a fellow member!! PM me!!!

Reinhard Kleist presents after Fidel CASTRO and Johnny CASH again and an absolutely unusual
graphic novel Authobiographie.

Der BOXER
The life story of the Herschel (Hertzko) Haft

Hetzko Haft, born on 28 July 1925 in Bełchatów, Poland; died 3 November 2007
In 1941, Haft was deported to Auschwitz because he was Jewish. Because of his strong physical stature an SS overseer trained him to be a boxer, and had him compete at fights to the death in front of the military personnel.
Haft managed to escape. On the run he killed a bathing German soldier and donned his uniform.
Later he was an professional boxer in the United States during 1948–1949.

I wish there was some cool story of how I acquired it (I ask Mr. Block nicely, but he said "No"). I was able to pick this up on eBay for less than a pre-order of the trade hard cover.

Not a NEW Pride & Joy, but it was at my parents... and i did bring it back last week end : LA TOUR SOMBRE, L'INTEGRALE (2 MASSIVE BOOKS... as massive as DICTIONNARIES...).
Obviously, those do not include TWTTKH

Those are nice collecting books, but that's it. The paper is too thin, too fragile... the books are too massive to be able to be read...

I like the slipcovers - you cant see them and they are protecting my Signed books. It looks cheap, but you dont see the sides if you are displaying them next to each other. so the looks are not important it is whats inside that is worth protecting.

Yes. I won't rush into it but when I get back from my holiday I will have a grand total of three S/L editions in my collection! A signed/unnumbered Dolan's Cadillac (1/1,000 version), Six Stories, and one of the 'classics', which I just purchased from a fellow forum member.

I also have an unsigned/unnumbered Danse Macabre (1/35) and Skeleton Crew (1/25) but they don't really count.

Thanks Dan. It's the "best" number that I've gotten, and it's happened in my active time here, so I was glad to be able to post in this thread for once. It's probably the best looking of the 6 signatures that I had too, which is a plus.

Frankly I'm just as thrilled with the Phil Hale signed DT2; It was my first DT book (albeit unsigned) back in 86-87. Phil's artwork remains my favorite of the DT books so I'm in awe of the book.

Starting with DT2, I played EVERY lottery, but didn't get in until DT7 (#14XX), so had to win AGAIN for LSOE getting #1004, meaning I had to win a THIRD time for DT4.5. I think with #180 I'm safe for future books (if he decides to do any more).

I'm really am sorry for the others that didn't win. I hope there end up being another couple copies that allow a 2nd round for you all!
