Perhaps an unadorned item from the morning repast?
Or an “extreme sports” aircraft, sleek and fast?
You may have your reasons, your version of events
Please, tell your side of the story, give us your “two cents.”

What word am I?

Well, hmm. What else would be unadorned from/after breakfast? The table?

Or... unadorned = plain
Aircraft = plane

A person who can have one side of a story from another person could be a plaintiff in court...

Plaintiff?

I'm not so sure, I have no explanation for "tiff" unless we're talking about the plaintiff's side in the tiff that they went to court for... Also, I didn't really bring anything from "morning repast" in. Hmmm...

Plaintiff is not correct, although a very good guess. THe Plain/Plane piece IS correct. You are breathing down the neck of the answer. ;)

Seriously is there a specific technique you use to write a riddle,
I have no faith that if I tried to write one that it wouldnt stink:sour:
Any practical advise, or a book I could read, or something?

For this kind of riddle, I usually take a word and break it into it's component syllables. Then try to imagine how to use those syllables in two sentences.

Take the word syllable, for example. A (window) Sill Label and Silly Bull, might work. I then "draw" a mental picture using those words. For example, a window component's id tag and a fatuous railroad policeman.

Then I try and make it all rhyme.

I use the several web resouces for all of this, BTW. Here are a few:
http://www.thesaurus.com
http://www.m-w.com
http://www.rhymezone.com/

Some final thoughts: I don't always KNOW if a syllable IS a valid word, but I go to www.google.com and type define: (the word) and it will tell me all sorts of information I may not have known.

And it never hurts to find some "quiet time" to compose riddles. I take my dog on a 2 mile walk about every day, and while I am walking, I turn words over in my head.

I hope this helps! Good luck! Let your creativity flow. I expect to see some riddles from you VERY soon!
