Terry, FWIW I have two brothers and two sisters, we definitely do not agree on everything and battles have ensued, yet "Family" is everything. had a photoshoot last sat (april fools) - model totally sucked big time... freaking incorporative know-it-all attitude (actually gave me flack about the color of a scarf I was wanting to use), less than desirable in many areas, very expressionless. UGH!


took about a hundred shots of which I might get 3-4 edits out of them total.... very disappointing.
Anyway... that said... this is one edit I've done so far from the shoot.

Luckily, that's the first model I've had to do anything like that, I shoot with some very seasoned photographers (over 30 years professional magazine experience) and they had the same opinion of this girl.
anyway, looking forward to the next shoot in a few weeks, I'm sure it'll go better.

As bad as the last model was... the gal from yesterday's shoot was grrrr-reat.... LOTS! of great shot. She was only 20 years old... but was a total pro. Great expression, great fun attitude, lots of energy, very uninhibited, and very hot.
Not to mention I really love it when the naked models give me a big hug at the end of the shoot haha.

pretty much just regular heavy rain... no flooding here at the house... wind was pretty high, knocked off a bunch of dead tree limbs...saved me from having to pay someone to cut them off :)

somebody on facebook complained about the same thing ha ha

and here's exactly what I told them....

the bruises/rashes are actually "manmade" ie photoshopped in... and the style is meant to be similar to the old detective novel illustrative technique. My intent for the bruises is to lend a background story to the picture...why is she blindfolded, is she being punished/ abused? held hostage? It's long been my view, not all art is meant to just be pretty pictures....but rather to make the viewer think and possibly question "what's up with that?"
