I see that everyone has a flag that represents the country that they live in. I am not very familiar with each countries flags and would just like to know which country your flag represents.

Mine is actually the New Zealand flag, even though I live in Wisconsin. I just have high hopes of moving there.

Thank you Storyslinger, I also like your new avatar and signature. That was one flag that really stumped me and I like that Flag

I'll just hope you can guess mine.
Russia
but you know mia, many flags here are just siguls, not necessarily true indications of people's whereabouts.

I understand that and that is ok. I am trying to identify the flags that I don't know.
What is Russia like? Just curious

St.Petersburg, the city where I live, is not really Russia, it's St.Petersburg (like Paris is not really France); I posted a detailed description here (http://www.thedarktower.org/palaver/showthread.php?t=1055&page=7), with pictures. Russia is quite another story. I answer this question little by little in various posts... I will tell you in more details when I find the proper words
So far the only [more or less] proper words were found only by Winston Churchill, who said, "Russia is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma"

Everytime I see the word 'Russia' I start humming Mother Russia by Iron Maiden :)

I am not using the flag of my country but it looks this way:
Hungary - the middle of nowhere

There needs to be a Texas flag. We think we are our own country sometimes.

Why is the top of the flag orange instead of red?
Or is that just my computer?

Okay, I just examined it more closely. Upon closer inspection it does seem like it's neon red.

Yeah, I just picked a random flag that I liked the look of. Like Jean said, I think a bunch of people did that.
