Let,s all sit in "the circle" and discuss this show.

I see so many clothes I once wore!

"They have a car that runs on WATER man!!" - Hyde

"Now I have to Go "DO" something." -Fez

"I wish I had 2000 feet so I could put 500 in each of your asses!" - Red

A parallel..Eric Foreman is on "That 70's show" and there is an "Eric Foreman" on HOUSE M.D.

Jon, In my oppinion these are examples of what
makes for entertaing TV. The 70's Show tells a
tale of my youth ( altho' quite tame ) and except
for the hotpants, and 6" heels of my glitter rock
phase I wore some of those clothes too .
Now I hadnt even noticed that the characture
on HOUSE shared the name Eric Forman guess I
am so intent on House's goings on I missed it.
This is my favorite show today.

My favorite episode of this show is the one where Donna finds the panties in Eric's car.
She goes into his bedroom and opens the closet and all the panties come flying out. She opens the drawer and all the panties fly out.
Eric: "Donna, whatever you do, do not pull the rope in the middle of the room."
All the panites come falling down and Eric is on the bed "Panties! Oh glorious panties!!"

I liked it when "HOT Donna" gets her a job at the local FM radio station,
and The dj keeps saying...."HOT Donna" on air and then Alice Cooper arrives to have a party , and poor Eric is left feeling inadaquate , thinking that the rock stars will steal Donna away:evil:

I always tell people that my dad looks like Conrad Bane (the dad on Different Strokes) but acts like Red Foreman.

Does he constantly reminisce about Nam' and threaten to kick your ass if you don't spend some quality time with your mother? Oh you poor thing!

I loved the show, and the time period of the 70's was cool. But, wasn't it like 81 by the time they graduated or something. I think the writers ran out of ideas at one point. As much as I think Dana is hot as a blond, I lost interest, because red heads are my fave! Other than that, I got sick of it because the Fox channal here started playing back to back episodes. And it was just to much syndication for me. I do think it's funny how the 80's show had like 3 or 4 episodes before Fox realized it wasn't funny.

I've always admired how they decided to base the show on one of the most alleged-boring decades, in one of the most alleged-boring places (No offense Story or Monte), and were still able to make a hit out of it.

Fp I think it's kinda cool because where I grew up, it wasn't to different. Well, it wasn't the 70's, but it was a small mid-west town.

Love this show!!!! I've only seen a few seasons. I did catch some of the later shows when some of the regulars had left. Not so good....

The early shows were side-splitting funny! I was 4 in 1970 and remember that decade a lot!!! The show did a great job!!!

I guess I like the casting of Eric's family the best since Eric, Red, and Kitty are the three funniest on the show. :D

I agree that the early episodes are funnier. Whenever I catch the show, if Donna has blonde hair, I change the channel...that's when the show got less entertaining.

For it was Kelso who made the show. I knew when he quit that it was pretty much over.

The best scenes in the show are when they all sit around the table high and the camera pans around to each person as they talk. I love that shit.

I just saw this:
Fez: "And this loud music won't damage my hearing."
Hyde: "No man. It's good for you."

Everytime I pick out underwear from my drawer I have a vision of Eric Foreman in my head exulting/exalting about "Panties! Panties!"

I just love Red and Kitty together--so cute and funny.

I personally consider the actor that plays Kitty pretty dang hot and everything about them being stoned on pot brownies was funny as hell

LadyHitchhiker
03-20-2008, 02:45 PM
Red and Kitty are almost just like me and my husband.

Jon

I liked when Kitty was mad that Bob and Midge were having a party and did not invite them so she and Red "crashed" a swinger's party!

My mom has all of the DVD sets now, so I get to watch them everytime my parents drive down to visit me. (Ironically enough, I actually live in Kenosha, WI.)

Billy Dee Williams playing the minister discussing Star Wars with Eric was great

John Blaze

Oh, and so is the first episode of season 4, especially when one has a hot redheaded ex girlfriend.

I loved how they finished this show up. It was the best series ending since M*A*S*H

John Blaze
04-18-2008, 05:34 PM
didn't they move?

Matt
04-19-2008, 08:18 AM
No, they didn't. That was the cool thing.

They decided not to move after all

Hyde got his record store from his dad (only one that didn't go "chain")

Eric came home and he and Donna got back together.

It was like...nothing changed from the cool way it started for the most part.

Jon

Nope, the final episode took place on New Years Eve of 1979! 8)

Red: Have you checked your muffler lately?
Eric: Uh, I’m gonna be honest, I haven’t. But that green liquid stuff under the
hood, seems to be in a really healthy level
Donna: (whispers) Coolant..
Eric: Donna, I think I can handle this, okay? You cool it!
