Hey Jon, this ones for you!
My first is a place of discourse, pomp and sometimes bad hair selection.
My center can be bad, taken and part of a child's rhyming dilection.
My last can be lost, can be found and can be driven.
As a whole, I am the go to answer for the afore question given.
"My last can be lost, can be found and can be driven."
This line is going to drive me nuts until the riddle is solved.

I think I’ve got part of it, but I am completely blocked on the rest.

I have a feeling that you may travel to CT and kick my ass when the riddle is solved. At least you will be able to plead temporary insanity.

Pomp and bad hair selection- Those white wigs that the ol' school lawmakers wore. I think Nancy and Chuck could rock one!

How does "knee", or "nee", become "part of a child's rhyming dilection"? I can get the rest, I think.
(I was thinking of "salon", instead of "court" so I was way off. )

Dilection, obscure for choice or choosing.
As a children's rhyme used for choosing a person or thing:
Eeny meeny miney mo, (eknee, meknee, myknee, mo) my wordplay.
Catch a tiger by his toe;
If he hollers, let him go,
Eeny meeny miney mo.
My mind can be a strange place to visit! Lol!

Courtney Love is Jon's go to answer to a riddle when he is stumped.
I almost wrote the last line of the riddle like this:
As a Hole, I am the go to answer for the afore question given.

Ah, thank you! I did look up "dilection" but was focused on the "love or loving" definition. So I was thinking of a child's favourite rhyme.
Nicely done. And Well done to Jon for getting it.

Damn! I missed that completely!!!
A true art form! Good job, Mike!
