Figured I'd start off with a fun one: A Shining 1st inscribed to some guy named Kirby (https://www.dropbox.com/sh/3ancxkiz1pigi4c/AAA3JdSUdzQR4he6NXbrClhza?dl=0).

Thanks for the love, everybody. I've been meaning to do this for a while, moreso for documentation/insurance purposes than showing off the collection.

...moreso for documentation/insurance purposes than showing off the collection.

Way to make us feel special (we have feelings, you know).

We did. He has crushed them with a flick of a pinky.

Then why don't you document your stuff with pics/video and put a copy on a memory stick, and store it in a safe deposit box?

For some reason, it just rubs me wrong that the primary reason isn't to share with the community, just to have documentation. Doesn't Dropbox work for that?

The initiation of a ‘Kirby McCauly’ Shining was absolutely brilliant.
Now I know I’m part of an insurance documentation exercise the ‘shine’ has disappeared.

I appreciate the feedback you both shared, Jerome and Alec. Can definitely see now how my approach might have rubbed you both the wrong way. Hope there's no hard feelings.

My impression was that he initially took the photos for insurance reasons, then thought "hey! Since I have them, I'll share with my like-minded internet friends who will actually get some enjoyment out of them!" Seems ok to me (my comment was just a joke - no offense taken here).

Back to some more signed 1st editions would be good.
