There are also plenty of things you can't do on the site until you have posted at least 5 times. Its a small number and its nice to have a little introduction into our community. Please make the most of it.

The reason we require 5 posts on our forums to use specific features of it is because we have been the unfortunate victims of nasty little SPAM people in the past. :nope:

So if you are here to become part of the fastest growing Dark Tower fan site on the internet--please enjoy the full range of features offered here by posting 5 times.

If you are here to cause trouble. Please reconsider, its not tolerated and there are much easier targets out there.

Chapter V Bridge and City (The Wastelands) shows a few exapmles. The part when they get to the washington bridge. Check it out. Read Wolves Songs and the Tower bang bang bang....

Now, to my point.....If you can, get The Tower on Audio...(I know, I know...it is not the same....but)....Listen to the Audio while also listening to a really good downbeat Ambient, like Cryosleep at Bluemars.org

You will be amazed, as I am now in how great the Audio Book version is and how much closer you get to everyone including Oy....

I am now at the end of The Wastelands and Blaine is revving up his engines....

It is almost as good as reading SK for the 1st time and discovering the awe and wonder of his craft....

Side note....The Stand was and is my all time fave.....I read it to all of my children at bed time from 3 1/2 on.... and ended at about age 9 (cognitive kick in).... Each has an off the chart IQ and cannot get enough to learn and or read....and of course SK is always top of the line...

I am also a musician and that combination (music and reading) is a critical piece to their lives..... Thanks and kudos to SK!

A few questions to initiate, if I may....

As we get smaller and smaller in our world (connectivity making us one large neighborhood) what are your thoughts on our senses growing or better yet evolving to see other parallel planes (worlds) growing/diminishing as well?

Or, how much of history must be repeated before we begin to see that we are on the beam of stagnant growth?

Nurture or Nature, which is the true path/beam?

Personally, I think the further technology goes, the more we will begin to realize we are part of a vast multi verse with plenty of "doors".

Feel free to take that post and start a thread in one of the forums for a full on discussion about the topic. I'm thinking the "Manni Village" as it could be considered Dark Tower folklore, but it may be shifted from there. :idea:
