Peeps! If you haven't yet seen Parasite, it's streaming on Hulu! Get to it, it is the best film of the decade!

Best of the decade? I really gotta see this film. Only on HULU? I have Netflix. Amazon, HBOMAX and Dusney+ would it be on one of those? Is it a PPV?

Absolutely the best of the decade. If you don't have Hulu, you can rent it: https://www.justwatch.com/us/movie/parasite-2019

Really enjoyed Parasite, but not as much as The Hateful Eight. For what it's worth, both have their flaws here and there.

I ended up going with The Hateful Eight. I really would like both to move on and will be bummed with whichever one doesn't. But that said I do think The Hateful Eight is the superior film.

So I watched, Parasite. Hateful Eight all the way!!!! You guys think anything with sub-titles should win an oscar. It wasn't horrible, but best of the decade? Not by a long shot. Inception far exceeded it as did H8, JMHO of course.

Parasite should've won an Oscar because it was a fantastic film.

What do subtitles have to do with anything? Tarantino himself has used subtitles quite a lot in his films.

None of those films were released this decade. The Hateful Eight is by far the best Tarantino film released in the last ten years.

Reservoir Dogs is the bottom of my Tarantino rankings..well, second last if I include Death Proof, but I just pretend it doesn't exist. Pulp Fiction was in the 3 hole for over a decade, but now it's fighting for the #4 spot with Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

I just rewatched The Hateful Eight last night, very solid movie. I do still wish both could move on and have these two in the final, but alas they got pitted against each other here. Also I already had to vote against a Tarantino movie due to Parasite and I just couldn't do it again.

I liked Parasite a lot. But, honestly, it's not the best Korean movie out there. I've seen over 300 Korean movies, and I could rattle off at least 20-30 that I liked better. That still puts it in top 10%, but it ain't *all* that.

Voted Tarantino.

Quentin is definitely superior to Nolan. It's a tighter call with Denis in terms of direction, but Tarantino gets the edge for me because he's an unparalleled screenwriter too.

I'd probably give the edge to Tarantino too, although Nolan has made my favorite film out of those 3 (TDK).

My personal ranking is as follows, although 2 and 3 can swap depending on my mood

1. Tarantino
2. Villaneuve
3. Nolan

There are 20-30 Korean movies in the last decade better than Parasite? I doubt that. I need to see that list regardless because I really love Korean cinema.

We have to remember that Parasite is the highest-profile Korean film ever made. I don't even think that's up for debate. Sure, the last decade saw some amazing Korean films. Some of my favorites being Burning and The Handmaiden. It's certainly up for debate if they are better than Parasite. The problem is that fewer people have seen them, hence why Parasite lasted this long in the tournament.
