Same. It ended up being a toss up between Endgame and Budapest for me though. Ended up choosing Knives Out and Endgame though, since while I love Budapest I don't think it's Wes Anderson's best film.

I'm not familiar with The Grand Budapest Hotel at all, but since it seems to be recommended viewing, I've put it in my Netflix queue. I should get it by the 13th, which would give me time to watch it before this vote closes.

Are you a fan of Wes Anderson's films? It's my favorite film of his.

Not particularly. I've seen three (his first three, actually) and I could take or leave them. But I'm game to try this one. It's not like I hate the guy or anything.

My favorite is Isle of Dogs. That's a very fun film. GBH would be my second but I totally see how he is not a director that everyone is going to like...

Fantastic Mr. Fox is a favorite top movie of mine. I also love The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou and The Darjeeling Limited. Moonrise Kingdom is pretty good too.

The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou and The Darjeeling Limited are two I have yet to see. One day....one day.

That pretty much sounds like my feelings towards his films. He's hit or miss for me. This makes me think you might like Grand Budapest then.

That said, I'm really looking forward to The French Dispatch.

There's a fine line for me between "interestingly quirky" and "pretentiously quirky and twee." The first 10 minutes I thought it was going to be the latter, and I didn't think I was going to like it. However, it rapidly switched over and grew on me. I liked it quite a bit. Found a lot to enjoy and smile about. An easy vote for me here.
