War of the Worlds is doing way better than I would have expected. I don't remember that film being that popular when it was released. I will have to check its box office.

I love War of the Worlds. I think it's a better action movie than Batman Begins.

When I saw BB, I was with a group of folks and one had already seen WotW so us two go to see BB, because the others had already seen BB. Afterwards my other friends come out and one of them proceeds to tell me exactly how WotW ends after I simply asked how was it? That friend quickly learned not to do that again.

Funny thing is that the older I get, the less I really give a damn about spoilers. Maybe when I was younger I felt like time was infinite but now I know for certain I'll never be able to see all the movies I want so spoilers don't enrage me as they once did...

Oh no... Now I'm scared to look where Spirited Away stands. Hopefully it's still early and it can get ahead.

Not in a million years.

WOTW freaked me out a bit. I saw it at night, and on the drive home I was afraid to look at the sky lest I start to see those flashing lights.

The Village having more votes than Howl's is astounding. I'm a big defender of it, but it's not close to Howl's.

I agree, I totally don't understand the voting in this group. I haven't voted yet, I admit I peaked and saw that Howl's was in last place :( it's the best film in this group. I was going to vote for that, The Village, and The Orphanage, but I might just vote for Howl's now.

Goodbye, The Orphanage. I wonder how many of the favourite flicks from the 2000s will even be left after the second round. It's not looking good at the moment.

I'd say a good handful of mine are gone already, and most will be cut in this round. I have a feeling it's going to be a lot of superhero and action films that move on. At least I have Kill Bill to hopefully root for near the end :D

I'm sure Kill Bill Vol 1 will last longer than Vol 2.

That music right there is why my wife refuses to watch the Kill Bill movies. It only plays like 2 or 3 times in both movies combined but if I'm watching one of them on TV or something, she somehow always manages to walk into the room at that exact time.

Haha. That's how I feel about some commercials that have irritating music. Some bother me so much that I refuse to buy the product they're advertising because their commercials are so irritating.

Energizer Bunny! I hated those commercials so much, that I refuse to buy Energizer batteries unless they're the only ones available at the store

I love everything about the Kill Bill movies. The action, the references, the animation, the dialogue, and, yes, the music. Kill Bill might not be Tarantino's most "mature" movie, but by God it's the most fun to watch over and over.

It is really fun. I think the animation was one of the few parts about it that I didn't like, though.

I don't support Apple, Subway, Duracell, or other numerous products due to ads. If your ads piss me off, I won't buy your shit. Fuck you companies. Fuck you.
