I'm almost kicking myself because I voted for both of these in the main grouping. If I had only voted for The Family Man (which is the movie I like far better) it would be moving on right now.

I'm sorry. No offense to homeless people, but in the Day After Tomorrow, a bunch of very intelligent people take the advice of a homeless guy to leave their shelter and venture out into the freezing cold.

Yet somehow after 9 votes Day is ahead by one. :panic:

The Family Man is one of Nic Cage's best performances and Tea Leoni here is absolutely angelic!

Of course I can't find a clip but I love the bowling scene in that movie where he throws a gutter ball and all his teammates can't figure out why he's bowling so badly. Then on his second ball he gets like 7 pins and he gets soo excited and exclaims "victory!".

It's kinda of an interesting angle into what's happening in the movie. He obviously has zero memories or skills of the "other" Jack Campbell and if you've never bowled before in your life, it's not quite as easy as it looks. As a life-long bowler, I really appreciated that scene.

The Family Man. Cool movie with a great message.

And yes, Tea Leoni is divine.

TFM.

I like TDAT, but too much family mush for a disaster movie, otherwise I might have voted for it here.

She was so sexy in Bad Boys.

It's 19 years old, have people not seen The Family Man?

After a year or two the probability of me seeing a movie for the first time goes way down.

The poll has closed. The Day After Tomorrow moves on and The Family Man is eliminated.

I'm stunned...

People love their big, dumb disaster films. What can I say.

I certainly do, but I voted for TFM here (and 2012 was 100 times better than TDAT).

But The Family Man is such a great and sweet movie. It makes me cry every time.
