Whoops, forgot to vote for Milk, hoping RF could add one to the total?

From Hell and Funny Games are tied for last but both are such great films. It's a shame they'll probably get knocked out right away.

Yeah, I've noticed that Funny Games doesn't do well in our tournaments. It's probably a combination of most not having seen it, or it being just too brutal for some. It's essentially a 2 hour torture scene. But then again, so is Passion of the Christ.

I'm not a fan of the so-called torture porn movies, but Funny Games is much more than that, it's an indictment of violence in film as a whole, I think.

Yes, correct. It's Haneke feeding our own sadistic nature right back to us.

"Oh, so you love violence? Well here you go."

Thought about voting for "From Hell", but it was a movie that I had to watch the trailer to confirm if I had seen the movie, and since I only vaguely remembered the movie, figured it wasn't good enough to get a vote.

I'm not sure why I was thinking this Funny Games was the original. I didn't think Funny Games was so old. If someone could add a vote for me for Funny Games that, that would be super.

I had the DVD for From Hell in my hands today, but I passed on it. I forgot it made it into the tournament.

Also, Children of Men is my dark horse for the tournament. Probably my favorite film of the decade.

Funny Games (Original) has been the one Haneke film I've seen that I didn't like. I have no interest in watching the American version.

Elephant 2003 by Gus Van Sant is one I regret not nominating.

I've owned From Hell for 15 yeas and I've never watched it.

One of these yeas, you need to watch that shit. It's good. Even though I didn't vote for it, I would still watch it again.

Looks like the boss hasn't done it yet. RF is usually good with adjusting these, but I will account for it when posting the totals after the polls close. With this Funny Games actually ties Battle Royale and From Hell for last place.

I picked it up this weekend at a flea market for a buck. Can't go wrong.

From Hell was a really good film. It may have taken some liberties on the Jack the Ripper story, but it was still a worthy film.

Ack, Funny Games was awesome... didn't realize it was that movie. Would have got my vote, I only voted for 4 of the movies.
