How is Halloween getting these votes? I'm not a huge Halloween fan but I thought the Rob Zombie remake was despised by fans of the franchise. And it's only 27% on RT.

I liked it.

Of the 3 big name horror movies that got re-booted (Jason, Freddy & Micheal) this was the one I liked the most. I also loved the fact that he brought Danielle Harris back as a different character as a callback to the original.

I really liked the scenes with young Michael. Humanized him and made him more then just a walking "shape" in my opinion. (on the other hand I wasn't fond of the changes in Laurie Strood's character, or Dr Loomis for that mater)

I've got to get busy and see The Wrestler, The Illusionist and Transsiberian before voting but I'm positive Dogtooth will get another vote from me at least.

I really like the first hour or so of Halloween but then it became more about him demolishing walls and breaking shit and I just lost interest. Part two made the girl beside me throw up. That's something, right?

I love Halloween. I thought most hated it as well so I was surprised to see it doing as well as it is. I think he did a great job remaking it. I love how he added a backstory to Michael. Also I'm a sucker for his horror films. The only one I didn't like was Halloween 2.

I think Dogtooth is the kind of film that will grow with time. I hope so at least.

WARNING: amd, DO NOT watch this film.

This is closing in a few hours and Dark Water and Dogtooth are still tied for last. Hopefully we can break that tie!
