Napoleon Dynamite is, by far, one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. I cracked up in the theater and will watch it anytime it's on even though I have the DVD. I hope this one makes it further than this round.

Glad to see the votes coming in for The Cell. Fantastic movie. I wish I had had the opportunity to see on the big screen.

Personally, I don't think Batman Begins is a very good movie. The editing during fights is near unwatchable. It's unfortunate it's in the lead.

Let The Right One In and Lars and the Real Girl.

The New World needs a lot more attention, how is it next to last?

Napolean Dumbamite should be last. When I watched it, I was shocked at the fan fare. Guess I just don't get it.

I didn't get it at first either. It's one of those movies that you have to watch a couple of times and it tends to grow on you. I think you also have to watch it with friends.

I have that problem with The Big Lebowski. It's a cult classic and when I finally got around to watching it, I just didn't get the hype for it. If I watch it a few more times it might grow on me but I've never gotten around to it.

I love that movie. The temptation for some might be to skip it because it stars JLo, but it is a visual wonder.

Batman Begins is easily the best film here. Nolan's action typically varies from Good to Subpar, I'll give you that, but the fighting only makes up a small portion of this film. Laying the foundation for the monumental icon that is Batman is what the film strives for, and in that it succeeds in space.

Napolean Dumbamite should be last. When I watched it, I was shocked at the fan fare. Guess I just don't get it. I'm not gonna lie, it took me 2-3 viewings before I was able to fully appreciate ND. The deadpan humor caught me off guard at first (I was 17 when it first released and was used to nothing but fart and dick jokes), but as time went on I grew to appreciate it more. Its subtlety is its strength.

Maybe I should watch ND again because I was just like "huh?" the first time while my friend was laughing his ass off.

You really should. My husband and I were dying in the theater. No one else around us was laughing but at the time we were visiting family and the town was very much like the one in the movie. My teenage son even loves it. We quote it all the time. Seriously, this one should have way more votes.

And don't forget to watch the end credits scene.

The movie is endlessly quotable. To this day I still pronounce the word "quesadilla" the same way Napoleon's grandma does. case-uh-dill-uh

Whenever I make quesadillas at home I yell out to my room mate "I'm making myself a dang quesa-dill-luh! Want one?"

And also obviously when I go bowling and get a strike I gotta throw out a "please be good to me, please be good to me... yussssssss"

Regarding the Cell, this was a movie I saw at the theater. I went with a group of people, and I seem to recall we all wished we had our money back after the movie. Only vaguely remember the movie, but definitely recall not liking it at all. I generally buy the DVD/Blu-Ray/4K disc of movies I see in the theater (probably 80% of them). This was not one of them.

3 votes for The Lookout? Are you serious? Have you guys not seen the film?

As for The New World, I just couldn't get into it.

I voted for The Lookout but, ehhhhhh. It's just okay. Its competently made but doesn't leave much of a lasting impression.

I found The New World to be a bewitching film filled with a mysterious beauty. And not for nothing but for that time period, it's by far Bale's least intense performance. Malick took Mr. Intensity and gave him a totally different kind of role to play. Not many filmmakers would be that bold.

The Criterion blu-ray that was recently released of The New World is astounding. Watch it, if you haven't seen it in a while.

I'd never even heard of it. But after watching the trailer, I've apparently seen the Disney cartoon version of it...

I had to go back and refresh my memory on how the film was received. I thought maybe I was off and it was this beloved classic. Nope. I was remembering correctly. It sits at a 63% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 6.7 score on IMDB.

I'm willing to give it another chance at some point.

I'm kinda shocked that it's rated that low. I think its reception in more recent years has been much better:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_New_World_%282005_film%29#Reception

In a 2016 international critics' poll conducted by BBC, The New World was voted the 39th-greatest film since 2000.

Cone on. Give me one more for The Lookout. It's a great heist film. Jeff Daniels is really good in it and so is Joseph Gordon Levitt.

It's available on Starz streaming if you have it.

It would take at least 4 more votes to avoid elimination.

Damn. I counted wrong. At least Lars is doing well.

Hopefully people will still watch The Lookout.
