I nominated both of these, so I really don't mind which one ends up winning - they are both worthy finalists and both deserve to be crowned.

This is a great match up. I LOVED Shawshank and consider it to be the best King adaptation ever made. However, T2 for me was movie going bliss. I will never forget when I seen it. I was so young.... I remember me and my friend having no drive home and for some reason.. I had bare feet... and I had to walk (A LONG way I might add) but I did and was so pumped by what I had seen it didn't matter. It was so late when we got back to his house... I seen that movie in theaters 3 times. I owned the VHS, DVD and Bluray. It is arguably my favorite movie of all time.

I do however... NOT remember the first time I seen Shawshank.. and that has to count for something in who I want to win.

WTF? Good thing the movie opened in July.

T2 is quite good, but I remain stunned it has gotten this far. It's a great action movie, nothing more.

RF, I cannot remember why I had no shoes... FOR THE LIFE of me. I have no clue. Walked 7klm (about 5mil) too... give or take...

Yeah at least it didn't have to be up a hill in the snow both ways.

Well everyone, it's been fun. We all know what happens now though. No fighting the inevitable.

With only 20 votes in at the moment and six votes separating the two, this is far from over.

T2 didn't do too bad, but yeah nothing was coming in front of Shawshank on this site.

Thank you and thanks to everyone for a great level of participation and involvement! The tournament and really the last five months or so coincided with some tough times for me and my family, so this thing was one fun thing that often kept me occupied and kept me going. I had a good time running this and after a short break I'll be happy to dive back into things with the movies from the 2000s. A great many great movies to choose from!
