Felt like this deserved its own thread. Also, apparently there will be King Easter eggs.

I've been watching Creepshow on AMC and they've been showing advertisements for NOS4A2 the past few weeks.

They also just replayed the entire first season with bonus footage.

NO. It was pure trash.

I thought it was OK. It wasn't quite as good as Mr. Mercedes but it wasn't as bad as The Stand.

It's been a few years since I read the book but they seemed to stick to the storyline pretty well from what I remember of it. Seems like S2 will mostly follow the book as well.

It was decent. It veers off a bit

I'm re-watching Season 1 before Season 2 on the 21st. The book is really, really good (my favorite Hill book). The series is good, too. Some things are followed very closely, others are changed a bit. It's nothing drastic, though. Season 2 looks like it'ls going to follow the second third of the book, so I guess we'll see how faithful it continues to be.

I thought the book was OK, but I liked Horns better. For some reason, I just couldn't really connect with the book version of Vic. I honestly didn't like her all that much.

The TV version of her seems better. I can't really explain why that is though.

I couldn't get through the first 2 episodes. Maybe once I read the book I will revisit.

I watched the first couple of episodes of S2 but haven't gotten to the rest yet. I just haven't been in the mood to watch for some reason. I remember watching S1 and I would typically watch every episode either the night that it aired or the next day. Not sure what's different now.

Just finished this show up last night. Some possible spoilers ahead so I'll just put it all in spoiler tags.

I liked the fact that they didn't follow the book exactly and left Vic and Maggie alive at the end so that S3 is a possibility. Although with Manx presumably dead for good this time, it would be interesting to see where they go with the story. It would have to be completely new material.

I mentioned above that I didn't like Vic in the book. The TV show version of the character is a little better but she's still a really difficult character to root for.

I did like that they expanded on Manx's backstory and gave his daughter a bigger role as well. Seems like it's possible she could take over his role in the future.

Season 3 hasn't been announced yet but I'll probably watch it if they go forward with it.

I just watched the finale. I also liked that Vic and Maggie are alive. I like the possibility of Maggie seeking out other inscapes, so I'd be curious to see what that would be like. My only concern would be it might get a little repetitive if Maggie and Vic are put through such an arduous experience again.

Also, Tabitha said that Manx was cremated, but we didn't see it happen so I'm wondering if he's really gone, or if they are leaving the door open for a possible return. I wouldn't mind seeing Millie again, though.

This show was just so unbelievably hokey and bad. I’m shocked AMC did such a poor job after their work on shows like walking dead, and the terror.
