Both are good films. Which one do I find myself watching more? Dumb & Dumber. No contest.

Like Heather said in the main poll thread, people just seem to like to hate Titanic, but I never understood that. I saw it three times in theaters and loved every minute. It's my second favorite film of 1997 after Contact. Bought the VHS as soon as it came out. It's a definitive movie of the '90s and just an overall astounding technical achievement. Dumb and Dumber is very funny and is a hallmark of the '90s as well, of course, but there's just no comparison for me personally.

They hate it now. When it came out, everyone loved it. Then it reached what I call PPC (Peak Pop Culture). This is a phenomenon that happens when something becomes too popular that everyone starts hating it. We see it all the time now.

Titanic!

Mae did you have the double VHS one because it couldn't fit on one tape? I might still have my copy somewhere.

That's awesome. Mine must have been the fullscreen version then because the box was blue.

The poll has closed. Titanic moves on and Dumb and Dumber is eliminated.

So, you're telling me there's a chance...actually, no, you're telling me the opposite.
