During the first round of The Great Movie Tournament, please vote for up to six films you would like to move onto the next round. The top six films will be moving on. Keep in mind that the percentage of the vote a given film receives will determine its standing going forward.

The poll will run for seven days. Discussion is greatly encouraged!

Immortal Beloved tied for last is not right...

I don't know how I missed this poll. I might have voted for Immortal Beloved, there was at least one good moment there - namely, when he playes the moonlight sonata; then the last twenty or so minutes were really good

Truly a shame that "Immortal Beloved" has been eliminated. It's a great film and the scenes for "Ode to Joy" are remarkable. It's elimination is likely due to the fact that few have seen it. As I recall it didn't get a wide distribution, but maybe some of you folks will give it a shot and it'll have a chance next year.

Short synopsis: The docu-drama of the life of Ludwig Von Beethoven. At it's core it is a love story and the music is well.................................It's Beethoven. Grand performance by Gary Oldman as Ludwig.
