Eleven short stories from award-winning author Joe Hill, building on the success of his blockbuster novels. Some new, some previously published, all terrifying.

Includes FULL THROTTLE and IN THE TALL GRASS, both collaborations with Stephen King and both being filmed at the time of writing.

A little bummed it's not an official King book, nor is it collecting other potential collaborations in one volume.

It makes sense that Steve would want to help his son, while trying to be just himself...

Just a money grab.

Publishing stuff that's been done before but in a slightly different format.

"In the tall grass" was not really published in a book. Only in a magazine and as an ebook.
It's a way to bring it to bigger audiences.

"Throttle" was in "He is legend", and comic versions. Besides that, there wasn't any mass release.
It make sense to be included in Hill's story collection.

As money grabbers, I tend to think that limited editions are worse.

Yeah they were short stories that had only been included in minor collections or magazines as opposed to a proper anthology by one of the authors.

Something like Blockade Billy which had a mass release Scribner hardcover I don't really get anthologizing but maybe King thought it was better suited as part of a group. (Makes me wonder if Elevation will follow suit.)
