Even though Casino is Goodfellas-lite, it's still a damn good movie in its own right.

The Three Colors trilogy is actually one of the best trilogies in film history so it's disturbing to see it with just one vote so far. Even if people haven't see it, I'm sure most have heard of it by reputation.

I have, but I can't vote for films I haven't seen.

Then that's a film you definitely need to watch. Stat!

If stat means waiting until April after I've watched all the 2018 movies I missed and then watch a bunch of old wrestling before Wrestlemania, then most definitely! Will be a little late for any of the 58 unlucky films in this bracket that I haven't seen :'(

I'm not trying to be a dick, but I know a lot about film. Right up there with anybody in this forum. I've been around movies my entire life and have especially immersed myself in film for the past 15 years. All kinds of film too, not just new stuff. I'm talking about black and white, indies, foreign, etc. I can honestly tell you that I've never heard of the Three Colors trilogy until it was nominated.

I'm not saying they aren't good. I just wouldn't say most people have heard of it.

It's okay. I'm no film slouch either but there are plenty of 'omg you haven't heard of them' I haven't gotten to as well. The landscape of cinema is just too big.

Also, Three Colors has been mentioned on this forum before. I think it's either Matt or Jean always rave about em.

In hearing you guys talk about the Three Colors trilogy, I was like, "Yeah, I've heard of that!" Only when Googling did I realize I was confusing it with the Before trilogy.

Don't h8 me but I randomly realized on my drive home from work yesterday (isn't it weird how you think of the most random shit on those long drives home? anyway) that it was a different movie forum I was a part of that kept mentioning those movies like gospel.

You guys are still my No. 1 tho :)

Wait a minute. There's another movie forum you frequent!? I really hope you don't participate in Oscar tournaments over there or something!

Since IMDB closed their message boards, I can't find any other forums I like. I read Reddit sometimes, but you have to be hopped up on speed or something just to follow a conversation on there.

Lol no not anymore, I haven't stopped by there like an a year or 2.

And no, I don't participate in any movie tournaments anywhere else. You guys have an exclusive deal on that

I was specifically referring to the Oscar contest that you haven't participated in since 2015.
