AUCTION LINK (https://www.ebay.com/itm/202250304933)

We chose 19 stories from 1st edition trade hardback King books including Skeleton Crew, Nightmares and Dreamscapes, Hearts in Atlantis, Everything's Eventual, Just After Sunset, and Bazaar of Bad Dreams. We did not use any stories from Night Shift as the page block is smaller than all of the other books.

The title page and copyright page from each book we used are bound near the back of the book. At the end of the book is an acknowledgement page. There is no Table of Contents. This was done purposefully to encourage the book owner to be somewhat surprised as to what stories are included.

Glenn Chadbourne, Alex McVey and Erin Wells contributed a total of 8 pieces of original art, and one print that are bound in the book. The print is of a piece from Glenn Cadbourne that was too large to bind in the book. The winner of the auction will receive the original unbound piece as a bonus.

stroppygoblin created the 3-D images used for the endpapers and liner of the slipcase as well as the "19" title pages used for each story.

The book itself is bound in custom dyed Italian Goatskin, and has a wonderful texture to it.

Whoa!! I'll tell you what, it's one helluva King collectible. Kinda sums up all our efforts for the fundraiser over the years. King should sign this for the winner. It would acknowledge all the effort, by all the people over the years for the Haven Fund. FWIW

That would push this book north of 5K I bet.

I doubt it. What Paul is doing is a passion. I'd be surprised if Paul is sitting around as a wealthy individual with loads of cash in his pocket.

Over the 2k mark!
I was sweating for a very long time. Several hundred dollars of donated art and materials won't be deducted from the net proceeds, but as I may have mentioned, actual binder and printer productions costs which come from the gross proceeds (along with ebay and PP fees) had me very worried.
At least now I can sleep knowing the fundraiser will do well on this.

It really is an outrageously gorgeous book, and I often feel like a surrogate mother who has entered into an agreement, but after the process and "birth" is reluctant to give the "baby" up.

The positive is that I'm certain the book will go to a good home.

I don't know how you give them up. If I had such a beautiful book in my hands, it would have to pried out. You are a good man, Jerome!

Not really. I just honest. The two don't always go hand in hand.

Just when you think there can't be any unique ways to do a special one-off left, something like this comes along. Whoever came up with the concept for the collection and the design elements, wow, great job (and "wow, great job" doesn't really do it justice).

Travelinjack, Merlin1958, and stroppygoblin came up with the ideas. I just facilitated having the book bound.
