During the second round of The Great Music Tournament, please vote for up to three tracks you would like to move onto the next round. The top three tracks will be moving on. Keep in mind that the percentage of the vote a given track receives will determine its standing going forward.

IMPORTANT! Please do not simply vote on name recognition (or lack thereof) alone. Please do listen to each nomination and then make your choice. Even if you think you know a track well, it's still worth giving it a listen for a refresher.

The poll will run for seven days. Discussion is greatly encouraged!

The nominees are (please let me know if any video doesn't play for you):

One time probably about 15 years ago or more I was driving to work and listening to the radio. The radio host was playing a version of "name that tune" where two people would call in and try to guess a song by listening for least amount of time. For example one would say "I can guess the song in 8 seconds". The other would say "I can guess the song in 7 seconds", etc...

Well on this day the DJ said that he had to skip the first couple of seconds of the song or else he'd give the title away. I immediately thought of Cheap Trick's "I Want You to Want Me". It's the only song I know of where the lead singer literally says the title of the song before the actual music starts. I think the person that called in actually guessed the song in like 2 seconds but I could've gone 0 seconds and won.

Hopefully Vicki Sue Robinson and Starland Vocal Band can turn it around, those two must make it! Classic tunes!

The Starland tune in last???

Yeah, I'll be pretty sad if those last two picks get eliminated so early on.

A sad development...how about a "consolation group" or some such, for tunes eliminated like Crazy Diamond and the Starland tune?
