During the second round of The Great Music Tournament, please vote for up to three tracks you would like to move onto the next round. The top three tracks will be moving on. Keep in mind that the percentage of the vote a given track receives will determine its standing going forward.

IMPORTANT! Please do not simply vote on name recognition (or lack thereof) alone. Please do listen to each nomination and then make your choice. Even if you think you know a track well, it's still worth giving it a listen for a refresher.

The poll will run for seven days. Discussion is greatly encouraged!

The nominees are (please let me know if any video doesn't play for you):

The Cyrkle - Red Rubber Ball (1966) is the best, most honest "coming out of a bad breakup" song I've ever heard. The lyrics are poignant and the tune is extremely catchy. Maybe it just speaks to me because once I was in that "dark place," finally realizing that the girl I thought I loved...well, she did me wrong. The moment when I decided that she and her memory were not worth my time was a new day for sure. "If I never hear your name again, it's all the same to me."

I lived this song.
