During the first round of The Great Music Tournament, please vote for up to five tracks you would like to move onto the next round. The top five tracks will be moving on. Keep in mind that the percentage of the vote a given track receives will determine its standing going forward.

IMPORTANT! Please do not simply vote on name recognition (or lack thereof) alone. Please do listen to each nomination and then make your choice. Even if you think you know a track well, it's still worth giving it a listen for a refresher.

The poll will run for seven days. Discussion is greatly encouraged!

The nominees are (please let me know if any video doesn't play for you):

I LOVE Jumpin' Jack!

Oasis is such a well rounded, solid band.

I love everything Oasis. Noel Gallagher is a damn fine songwriter.

They are so solid...the drummer... bass... vocals...the writing...it's all there.

I suspect that if they covered Mary Had a Little Lamb: it would be #1 for weeks!

Talent, hard work and practiced skill are had to ignore.

Hey, if you're gonna do it, do it fucking right.
One thing I've always loved about Oasis (and Noel Gallagher's solo work as well) is how loud it is. Noel Gallagher said once that they purposely recorded their albums at a higher volume and they aren't kidding. I can be listening to my music on shuffle and if an Oasis song comes on, it's at a whole other volume. Very nice touch, I think.

I LOVE Jumpin' Jack!

I'm very lukewarm on Oasis, sorry to say, but I do hope "Jumpin' Jack" gets more attention. Such aweseomness.

And that's not even Big Bad Voodoo Daddy's best song. Just one I hoped would get some votes...

With about 24 hours to go "Army of Me" and "Jumpin' Jack" are tied for fifth. Love them both, very torn.
