During the first round of The Great Music Tournament, please vote for up to five tracks you would like to move onto the next round. The top five tracks will be moving on. Keep in mind that the percentage of the vote a given track receives will determine its standing going forward.

IMPORTANT! Please do not simply vote on name recognition (or lack thereof) alone. Please do listen to each nomination and then make your choice. Even if you think you know a track well, it's still worth giving it a listen for a refresher.

The poll will run for seven days. Discussion is greatly encouraged!

The nominees are (please let me know if any video doesn't play for you):

First time I've liked all songs in a round...

Have you yet to find a group with NO songs you wish to vote for? LOL

For me, the least votes in a group was three.

Good...I am not alone. Group 16/16 in the 2000's was a struggle for me.

There's been a number of polls where I've only voted for 1. And most likely that one, I probably wouldn't have voted for it if it was in a different group

I've not been voting for many songs from 95 and up. Some polls I've come across don't have any songs I like. A lot of music turned to crap after 95.

"Two Princes" and "Groove Is in the Heart" are tied for fifth, and that shouldn't happen. "Two Princes" is such an iconic song! Spin Doctors were the shit in the early '90s.
