During the first round of The Great Music Tournament, please vote for up to five tracks you would like to move onto the next round. The top five tracks will be moving on. Keep in mind that the percentage of the vote a given track receives will determine its standing going forward.

IMPORTANT! Please do not simply vote on name recognition (or lack thereof) alone. Please do listen to each nomination and then make your choice. Even if you think you know a track well, it's still worth giving it a listen for a refresher.

The poll will run for seven days. Discussion is greatly encouraged!

The nominees are (please let me know if any video doesn't play for you):

Wow, nice and tight here, even the seventh place still not out of it.

What I meant was that this is one of the closest groups thus far in this tournament. While #1-3 are pretty firmly established, though not by much, we have a three-way tie for #4-5 and the song the the last place is only one vote away from making it a four-way tie for the last two spots. Amazing!

No no no no no. I refuse to believe it. The Animals and The Beatles didn't make it.

Edit: Oh man, but Wild Thing did?! Unacceptable!

I would swap Wild Thing!

Edit: Actually, I'd swap just about anything else I voted for.
