A little surprised how tight this is looking. Need more Bridesmaids votes!

Bridesmaids was nominated for two oscars. I'm surprised it made it past round one with those credentials :P

Brazil is one of my all time favorite films, but I don't think it merits advancing as a comedy..

I would have liked to see it go directly head to head with Dr. Strangelove. I suppose it would not have had much chance, but I wonder if that's just because Sellers and Kubrick did such a good job of showing how funny people can act when they're trying to stop each other from blowing everything to hell, or just because big bombs are inherently funnier as a concept than turning everything into hell right here by strangling each other with cold disdain. I mean, you have to admit that sadistic control beneath make up is a pretty popular form of amusement.

Do you ever find yourself bored to death, just listening to yourself? I'm sorry, I just couldn't resist. Truce broken. I'll crawl back into my hole in the ground. Hey, you gotta admit that the above was drivel for a man of your intellect.

You're fine. I don't know how to feel about that, but I ain't mad. Thanks for saying; I'll give it some thought.
