On Sunday March 1st, a lifelong friend and his lovely and wonderful fiance sadly lost one of their twin boys to complications related to cerebral palsy. I wanted to share some of the wonderful images they took of their family, and ask others how best I can support them in this time of need. If anyone has advice about consoling people who have endured such a tragedy, please share it.

Here's a small gallery of my friends Vincenzo and Lynn, and their sons:

I have started a Tilt campaign to raise funds for them and their son Grayson, which can be seen here:

Lynn has an on-going blog where they write about their family, which can be viewed here: https://lhard.wordpress.com/

This is also a reminder to go and hug those that you love, spend time with them, cherish them and recognize the impact they have on your life.

I'm so sorry for your friends' loss. I can't imagine the pain a parent must feel over the loss of a child. You have a kind heart to go out of your way to share their story. For what it's worth, you're all in my thoughts and prayers. :rose:

I'm sorry for your loss.

My only advice for you would be to be there for them. I know there's a fine line between wanting to help and giving them their space to grieve, but I would say just be there for them.

Very sorry for your friends' loss, Joe has said it quite nicely here. Show them support and love and this is all you can do.

I'm really sorry to hear that. The pictures of the brothers together looking so happy just crushed my heart. My condolences, man. My thoughts go out to them.

It's been a busy few weeks, and we had the funeral on Monday, that was a very very tough day. Thank you all for the thoughts and support, it's appreciated.
