Ruthless People for sure. Extremely funny with a fiendishly clever plot. Sure, it's based on The Ransom of Red Chief, but clever in its own right. Great scenes and great lines ("This very well could be the stupidest person on the face of the earth...").

Ditto for Tropic Thunder. My God that was funny.

I also voted for Amelie, even though I consider it a whimsical romantic fantasy rather than a "comedy," but I did really like it.

And The Return of the Pink Panther. Kaaaaa-to!

I even wrote Clueless. I was just reading too fast and saw Clue and wrote about Clue but my fingers had other plans. Oh, well. I don't hate Clueless, but it's certainly not a favorite of mine. My mom loves Clueless, so I guess that one is for her. Brain fart.
