Richard Chizmar begins an incredible journey this Halloween...

STEPHEN KING REVISITED will be unlike anything Cemetery Dance Publications has ever attempted in our 25+ years in publishing! This is NOT a book (at least not yet!), but sign-up below to be notified when this project goes live:

What I would love to see would be :
- Halloween masks around Stephen King's iconic characters
- Figurines
- An animated video, that could be transformed into a comic books... a similar thing to the N mini-series.

But then I dont see how that would be an incredible journey for Richard...

Per Rich on FB: Nope, no $ needed for this one. It's free and a little nuts and hopefully fun.

I think he's going to read all of King's books, and blog about them. Publication of what he writes could come later.

I wonder what the hell they are up to. I signed up for updates. You never know, right?

In a somewhat similar vein, Mark West is curating King for a Year (http://kingreviews2015.blogspot.co.uk/): 52 reviewers, 52 novels, 12 months.

I thought Mr. Chizmar's write-up on The Dead Zone yesterday was superb - my favorite so far.

Enjoyed the essay. I still remember picking up the book as a college student and not wanting (not being able) to spend $20 on a King Book!! I just couldn't do it. Did not fit in my budget. I went back to the store 3 times and looked at it. I just couldnt spend $20 for a king book. 33 years later i spent $1000ea-$6000ea for SK Books.

Christine: Baby, You Can Drive My Car (http://www.stephenkingrevisited.com/baby-you-can-drive-my-car-by-bev-vincent/)

I have been listening to the audio version of Christine for the past week or so and have come to the conclusion that it isn't a very good book. A lot of the dialogue between Dennis and Arnie sounds forced and clumsy much of the time and the premise of the story delivered over the course of a novel loses its impact. It might have worked better as a short story or perhaps a novella.

I read or listen to this book once a year. I have to say I disagree. It's one of my absolute favorites - so well-crafted and spot-on with the characterizations.
