It was tough though, I think Alien is a great film, but considering it won the horror comp I thought another film should win the sci-fi one.

Have to go with 12 Monkeys in the sci-fi category. Alien is a great horror, but I appreciate the sci-fi in 12 Monkeys better.

I am surprised that 12 MOnkeys beat out the Matrix... T2 winning the other I can understand.. while I really liked 12 Monkeys.. the Matrix is timelss in its thought.
