As some of you remember, Bill - merlin1958 posted in June the "Haven Fund Whore retirement grab bag!!!!" (http://www.thedarktower.org/palaver/showthread.php?19213-Haven-Fund-Whore-retirement-grab-bag!!!!) Which I was the first to respond. Not shortly after, Bill was hospitalized. After recovering (still amazed by that) he generously took the time, put everything together and with the family help shipped 2!!! boxes to me.

I was speechless.

Very nice! Two super, sweet pickups! I read somewhere that the Whelan doodles on the Artist edition are hard to come by. I want to start working on the Artist editions next. Congratulations!

I have two Whelan illustrations in the Artist Edition of DT VII. One is the Eye and the other is a landscape remarque, both in red ink. (The landscape can be seen on Tomas' site in the Whelan remarques section. It's the last drawing in the next to last row.) I also have Whelan signatures in the AE edition, one in black ink and the other in red. I also have a "trade" edition signed by Whelan with the Ka symbol.
