I'm not sure about GOAT. His early stuff is so overwrought and boring most of the way. I love his stuff since History of Violence though.

Think I'm going to have to go with The Sixth Sense with Jean, everytime I watch that movie I always think 'damn, now I remember why I love this movie.' I loved Shymalan allowed it at times to be both creepy and uncreepy. And the sequence when he goes to the house after the funeral of the little girl is one of my all time favourites.
