Read it once. Don't remember hardly a thing about it. I do know that I didn't have a bad feeling about it, like it was lousy or a waste of time or anything, so I must have thought it was good enough. That pencils out to 3.

Eh.

That's the lowest rating I've ditched out so far. This book made zero impression on me.

Pretty much my feelings as well.

I've only recently read it, and I remember it very well. It is a very short novella that would be charming if most of it wasn't told in the first person, just the way I hate it when King does it, with dialect imitation, a proverb or a wise saying in every other sentence and altogether annoying as hell.

So, you're saying it had its share of bad gunky?

(Sorry, I couldn't resist.)

BWA-hahahahahaha! Excellent! I gave it a 3. The fact that the story finished with an unresolved ending made me go back and read it again . . . like one of those annoying brain teasers that you just can't get out of your head.

Never voted on this one, but it matters not. It is one of my 3 never read.
