With davids big sale ende 2015 i got the chance to grab two more #PC copies for my personal collection

Song of Susannah, plus the extra hard to find Wizard & Glass!

Depending on how to look on the collection now i reduced my frank`n`set to only 3 different numbers , #169 , #PC & # 101
or brought my #Pc Set to 5 / 9 - so only four missing here :)

Also David was so kind to add some complimentary DT history

Actually I have 2,3,4,6 and WTTKH

but my Wind is in Bad Shape, it was damaged while sending and returned. It counts but I would replace it when I get a chance.

5 and 7 are available on eBay but to expensive, I wait for somebody who knows the real value, LSOE pop up now and then , missed an auction lately but not to worried to find one and DT 1 will be a lucky shot if I find one once.

I have a feeling that DTII was the hard part. 'Slingers you see once in a while - Drawing I've never seen one beside mine.

Same is for Wizard. Never seen one before.

I guess this was one of th most exiting weeks in my collecting history , as i got two items that i did not have on my list at all for the moment

1) i was happy to grad a very nice 1/1 stand to bring my firsts collection to only one book missing.

With the stand i really was waiting for a nice copy so that it would
match my other doubledays. Just got it today and really like the condition.

2) Was the early surprise in 2016.
Last year i started my personal artist editon with remarques of every Dark Tower Artist.

Of course this stopped with Bernie Wrightson, as he is unf. not active anymore.

So the existing dark tower sketches, are hand counted and most of them are in hands not less sticky then mine. :biggrin:

Thats why i was extra surprised see this baby hit the market , and had to get it - i mean really had to get it ;D
ITs the perfect match for my set as it is the only missing one, and its a roland.

Saying that, i am now in a position to have a remarqued book or matching remarques from every artist
what really brings me in the mood for a beer or two tonight - just sitting there starring at my new Wrightson.
+ The fact thats the cover art , still gives me shivers ;D

There is actually one more to frame before i will mount them, but this already is in my hands - i love the idea to get uniform and decent frames
especially when it comes down to pencil art, as this will put the artwork in the foreground, but everybody has its own taste of course.

Have to test if i can incorporate the original cover without getting to much focus on it , as its colored - but thats something i really love to try and rearrange.

Siep - i would love to say that i can share such stories, but as i started to collect king very late, close to everything i got is aftermarket.
But i can share you though - especially the edges of the pages are strange - from todays perspective i love them, but when i put myself into the mod of buying a new book
i guess i also would have left the shop without a book - so no bad feelings ;D

You did not deny a 60 USD S/L 'Slinger ;D

For the stand, i was surprised that it was so long for sale in the CC threat, i found it a couple of days after it was posted, and it seams that some others missed it also.

So long tome gone since the latest addition, for so more I'am so happy that I finally have the chance to post pics of the latest one.
It took me 2 years to find the last copies - I was missing for my Abercrombie Collection.

Im blessed that this board hosts so extraordinary generous and fine people. Especially this particular rare breed who not only helped me finding this two Mint, Singned lined and dated copies but also was not to be stopped gifting them to me.

It looks absolute amazing, and matches my personal picture of the the widow maker perfectly.

To have an on-screen history definitely is a bonus, although it's not needed - I love the fact that it was actually shown ;)

I have two now, one is a rubber stunt gun -> so called screen used , and one is a hard rubber (or plastic) version for the detail shots and post production.
One is certified as screen used, one isn't.

Both have been surprisingly cheep , or I was surprisingly lucky - whatever you want ;D

yes I do but obviously not that intense anymore as I opened the gates for other authors.

But still I confess, that I like a bit off-stream Items and my collection has a couple of weird things - but when THAT baby hit the shelf @ Betts I KNEW I needed it !

Stuff like that really drives my collectors heart as they hardly ever come up for sale.

Now part of my cabinet an original - but unbound - signature sheet, from Dark Tower II - Drawings of the three, just waiting to be framed 😉
