I know that Christine is generally portrayed as a coupe, but isn't she a sedan in the book?

Yep found it:
It was the re-registration of a used car, 1958 Plymouth sedan (4-door), red and white. It was dated November 1, 1978, and signed Arnold Cunningham.

Obviously, the coupe is cooler.

I think the model is awesome....but with all that attention to detail, shouldn't it have Pennsylvania plates?

NO This replica is based on the film not the book

Besides the 1956-58 Plymouth Fury was always a 2 door car.

King f_ _ _ _ _ up when he gave it 4 doors & called it a Fury in the book (maybe it lost 2 doors during the transformation). At least the art in the limited was right.

Are you saying the '58 Fury was only made in a coupe, or that later in the story it changes to a coupe?

In real life the 58 Fury was only a coupe. But in the book King said the Fury had doors in the back. The art in the limited it has 2 doors. I'm just saying King was wrong & did not do this research homework. But who knows in Kings world maybe the Fury has three doors? An extra one on the passenger side that SCREAMS when it is opened.

That's good to know. I wondered when I read it then saw the movie why they differed.
